The Beginning
Noble Company is founded by Ben Lowell, Sr.
1947
“Hold-A-Baby” Swing
Noble Company’s first product, “Hold-A-Baby” swing hanger, a hanger attachment for baby swings.
1955
Reorganization
Company reorganized as a partnership between Ben Lowell, Sr. and Ben Lowell, Jr.
1964
Saraloy Acquisition
Acquired Saraloy from Dow Chemical.
1966
Incorporated
Noble Company Incorporated, moved into Grand Haven facility (614 Monroe Street).
1969
RV Antifreeze
RV antifreeze for recreational vehicle is launched.
1972
Chloraloy
Saraloy is rebranded and relaunched as Chloraloy.
1977
Noble Manufacturing
Noble Manufacturing is incorporated.
1984
NobleSeal TS
NobleSeal TS, a bonded version of Chloraloy and Noble’s flagship membrane is launched.
1986
Baton Rouge
Noble Manufacturing building purchased in Baton Rouge (7001 Scenic Hwy).
1988
FireFighter GL
Noble Company’s first antifreeze for fire-sprinkler systems, FireFighter GL is launched.
1989
NobleSeal CIS
NobleSeal CIS (Crack Isolation Sheet) membrane is launched.
1990
RichPan
RichPan, Noble’s PVC shower liner is launched.
1994
NobleSeal SIS
NobleSeal SIS (Sound Isolation Sheet) membrane is launched.
1996
Noble Deck
Noble Deck, an exterior rated sheet membrane is launched.
1998
PRO-SLOPE
Noble’s first pre-sloped shower panels, PRO-SLOPED is launched for mud-bed applications.
2000
New Building for the New Millennium
Noble Company moves to current location in Spring Lake, MI (7300 Enterprise Drive).
2004
Noble Niches
Noble Niches, pre-fabricated, durable, and fully waterproof niches that are ready for tile are launched.
2006
NobleFlex
NobleFlex Drain Flashing, seamlessly connecting NobleSeal membranes to clamping ring drains, is launched.
2006
NobleBond EXT
NobleBond EXT, a wet-set adhesive for interior and exterior sheet membranes is launched.
2007
FreeStyle Linear Drains
High quality low profile clamping ring FreeStyle Linear shower drain launches.
2008
Noble Benches
Noble Benches, pre-fabricated, durable, and fully waterproof benches that are ready for tile are launched.
2010
ProBase
Noble’s patent-pending high-impact resistant thin-bed shower base is launched, later evolving into ProBase II.
2015
New Manufacturing Building
Noble Manufacturing moves to current location in Baton Rouge (8000 Greenwell Springs Road).
2016
Federal Process Corporation
Noble Company is acquired by FPC International, a brand-development company based in Cleveland, Ohio.
2018
FreeStyle Thin-Bed Drains
High quality low-profile clamping ring point drains for use with multi-slope showers are launched.
2020
AquaBlue
Noble Company’s first-ever liquid waterproofing membrane is launched.
2020
Custom Base Program
ProBase II Custom Base Program, allowing customers to order the EXACT base they need, is launched.
2021
AquaSeal
Noble Company’s thinnest waterproofing membrane for thin-bed applications is launched.
2021
ProBase EX
ProBase EX, an exterior version of ProBase II for lightweight and easy sloped decks is launched.
2022
FireFighter Eliminator 1330
Noble launches its UL-listed antifreeze for fire sprinkler systems with built-in corrosion protection.
2023
NobleBoard
Noble add a lightweight, high-density tile backer board to its product offerings for a complete system.
